SOMERVILLE FAMILY ROOM + BATHROOM
SOMERVILLE, MA
Our client wanted to transform a very dated third floor powder room and large dark storage room in their recently purchased Teele Square multi-family home. The powder room was converted into a crisp and detailed three-quarter bathroom, with special attention to modifying the window height in the shower, a frameless glass shower wall and door, Carrera stone vanity, special shower niche and floor tile, and built in shelves for toiletry storage. The storage room was converted into a family/ media room by adding a 30” x 60” skylight with custom shade, a custom kitchenette with quartz countertop, refinishing the floors and painting. The space of the kitchenette was maximized by paying attention to details like a pull-out trash cabinet, under cabinet lighting, and beautiful stained storage shelves that nestle into the eaves.
